This page is dedicated to running Linux (mainly Red Hat) on the Abit NV7-133R motherboard. This motherboard has several unique features that may pose problems under Linux, such as the nForce chipset and the HighPoint HPT372 RAID controller.

I've just released an updated nvnet RPM that supports the new 2.4.20-13.9
kernel as well as the older kernels.

Happy Cinco de Mayo. In celebration, I've posted a new nvnet RPM that
is based on the newer 1.0-0256 driver and supports both the release
2.4.20-8 kernel and the errata 2.4.20-9 kernel. Enjoy!

I've posted an nForce network driver RPM for Red Hat 9. This RPM is designed
to support multiple kernels, so I can upgrade it whenever errata kernels are
released and it will support both the old and new kernels with one RPM.

Creation of the Linux on NV7-133R page. I've posted a RedHat 8.0 bootnet image
with nForce ethernet support.
